Millennials, be ready to relive your childhood excitement as Smurf 2025 is set to premiere in cinemas on July 17th, 2025. This film is poised to charm millennials and Gen Z with a nostalgic childhood experience that transcends borders.

Meet Smurfs:

Three apple-tall, blue-skinned, small creatures were introduced to the world in 1958 in a European comic book. Later, it was first aired on TV in 1981. These creatures were portrayed as living happily in a magical forest inside their small, mushroom-shaped houses, led by their Papa Smurf.  Their life was all about living together and working in a community to solve problems with unity and bonding with a taste of humor for kids. 

The cartoon was produced by Hanna-Barbera and aired every Saturday in the early 1980s. Soon, the characters were loved so much by kids and adults that the show aired in almost 100 countries and was translated into multiple languages. In the 21st Century, the owners decided to transform them into animated movies: The Smurfs (2011), The Smurfs 2 (2013), Smurfs: The Lost Village (2017), and now, finally, on July 17, 2025, Smurfs (2025).

Smurfs (2025):

Chris Miller is set to make kids’ summers more amazing as Smurf 2025 is scheduled to be released worldwide on July 17, 2025, with a runtime of approximately 92 minutes. The story begins with the kidnapping of Papa Smurf by evil wizard brothers, who disturb the peaceful life of the Smurfs. The Smurfs decided to join Papa Smurf’s search, and on the way, they faced surprises and powerful spells. Their adventure finally led them to the human world for the first time.
