Last Date Announced for Dubai Fountain Show Before Closure for 5 Months

Big news for Dubai Fountain fans! Originally.

Emaar had announced the Dubai Fountain would be closing for a few months starting in May 2025.

However, there’s been a change of plans, and the iconic water shows will now come to an end earlier than expected. The final performance will take place on Saturday, April 19, 2025.

The Dubai Fountain has long been one of the city’s top attractions, drawing visitors from all around the globe to witness the breathtaking spectacle of water dancing to music right in front of the Burj Khalifa. If you’ve been planning to see the show, be sure to catch it before it takes its brief break!

Dubai Fountain Shows Temporarily Closing for Major Upgrade

The iconic Dubai Fountain, one of the world’s tallest performing fountain displays, will temporarily close for renovations starting April 19, 2025. The closure, initially scheduled for May, is part of a planned five-month maintenance period aimed at enhancing the fountain’s performance. The upgrades will include advanced technology, improved choreography, and upgraded sound and lighting systems, promising an even more spectacular show when it returns.

Currently, the fountains shoot 22,000 gallons of water as high as 140 meters and run every 30 minutes from 6 pm to 11 pm. However, during the renovation period, no shows will take place. If you’re hoping to catch the final performances before the upgrade, make sure to visit the Dubai Mall soon!
